Coming Soon – The Whyte Python World Tour!

Coming Soon – THE WHYTE PYTHON WORLD TOUR

This business is a real rollercoaster, but things are starting to take shape – and the next year is going to be wild! There’s a change in order to announce – The Whyte Python World Tour is now going to publish ahead of Welcome to Redemption, and I’m going to focus on one project at a time here to keep thing clean and simple! So we’ll revisit Redemption when the time is right – but I’m thrilled to put all of my focus into this book, which I love dearly and have worked on harder than probably anything else I’ve done in my life.

I’m so psyched to be working with the legendary editor Jason Kaufman at Doubleday on this book – besides me, he edits Dan Brown, Stacy Abrams and has worked with Lincoln Child and a lot of remarkable authors. On top of all that, he’s a super nice guy and very collaborative, and has become just as obsessed with this book as I have.

I’m not sure how much I want to tell you yet – it’s fun for the book that I worked on in secret for years to still be a secret for a little while longer. But for a taste, here’s the announcement that ran in Publishers Weekly back in the Spring:

Doubleday’s Jason Kaufman has acquired U.S. and Canadian rights to The Whyte Python World Tour by novelist Travis Kennedy. Yfat Reiss Gendell at YRG Partners brokered the deal. Doubleday said the book follows “a famous 1980s heavy metal band that is unwittingly lured into a government plot to bring down the Eastern Bloc.” No pub date has been set.

I cannot wait for you all to meet Rikki Thunder and his friends. Whyte Python never dies!!
